Terms & conditions

Using Counterprint

Counterprint provides a shop upload page, order management, print settings, and a desktop agent that submits approved files to the local operating-system print queue. The merchant controls approval and printing.

Files and orders

Only upload files you have permission to print. Supported formats and size limits are shown on the shop upload page. A print estimate is based on the merchant’s rates and selected settings; the merchant confirms the final job and any charges. Counterprint does not currently collect customer payments.

Orders are identified by a token and may include optional customer name, uploaded file names, copy counts, print settings, and status. A successful agent report means the file was submitted to the operating-system queue. It does not confirm that paper physically came out of the printer.

Document deletion

After the agent reports successful submission, Counterprint deletes the stored document. Order, token, job, file metadata, print settings, and accounting records may remain so the shop can manage and summarise its work.

Availability and responsibility

Printing depends on internet access, the shop’s computer, printer software, printer, and local configuration. The shop is responsible for reviewing each order, choosing settings, confirming prices, and handling printed documents. Do not use Counterprint to submit unlawful or unauthorised material.
