How to install Bridge

Bridge runs on the shop computer that is connected to the printer. Customers do not need to install anything.

Windows
  1. Open the downloaded file. It ends in .exe.
  2. Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Follow the installer steps and choose Install.
  4. Choose Finish, then open Counterprint Bridge from your desktop or Start menu.
Mac
  1. Open the downloaded disk image.
  2. Drag Counterprint Bridge onto the Applications icon.
  3. Move the disk image to the Trash once Bridge is in Applications.
  4. Open Counterprint Bridge from Applications.
After Bridge opens
  1. Open Counterprint Bridge and follow the setup steps.
  2. Turn on Launch at startup so Bridge starts again after the shop computer restarts. Without it, orders wait in the queue and nothing prints until Bridge is opened.
  3. In the merchant panel, connect Bridge to the shop using the pairing code.
  4. Open Settings, run the status check, and confirm the printer name matches the printer you want to use.

Latest release 0.2.6. Download links are signed by Counterprint and expire after 15 minutes. Storage credentials stay on the server.
